ImgSlim is designed with privacy at its core. We believe image processing should never require you to upload your files to our servers or trust a third party with your data.

How We Process Your Images

All image processing happens entirely in your browser on your device. When you use ImgSlim to compress, convert, resize, or enhance images, the work is done locally using JavaScript and browser APIs — your images never leave your computer.

• No files are uploaded to our servers
• No files are stored on our infrastructure
• No personal data about your images is collected
• No tracking of your image files or metadata

What Data We Collect

We collect minimal analytics to understand how ImgSlim is used and to improve the service:

• Page views: We track which pages users visit (e.g., Compress tab, Blog)
• Browser information: Browser type, operating system, approximate location (country-level)
• Performance data: Anonymous, aggregated compression times and file size statistics
• Error reports: Technical errors to help us fix bugs

We do NOT collect:

• Information about the images you process
• Image filenames, dimensions, or metadata
• Personal information (name, email, etc.) unless voluntarily provided
• Cookies for tracking or user profiling

Contact Information

If you submit a message through our Contact form, the information you provide (name, email, subject, message) is sent to kamran.a.contact@gmail.com. This data is used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not share this information with third parties or use it for marketing.

Third-Party Services

ImgSlim uses the following third-party services:

• Google Fonts: For loading fonts (preconnected, minimal data)
• jsPDF: Open-source library for PDF generation (runs locally in your browser)
• Analytics (if enabled): Aggregated usage statistics to improve the service

None of these services receive information about the images you process.

Your Rights

Because we don't collect personal data about your images, there's no data for us to access, modify, or delete. Your images remain completely under your control on your device.

Data Retention

Since image processing happens locally with no uploads to our servers, no image data is retained. Contact form submissions and analytics data are retained for as long as necessary to provide the service (typically not more than 90 days for analytics).

Security

ImgSlim uses HTTPS encryption for all connections. Since processing happens in your browser, the security of your images depends on the security of your device and network.
